About Anne

When I set out to establish Creative Counseling Center, I did so with the intent to establish a practice that would be client-focused and client-empowering. My objective is to create a clinical space that is comfortable and goal-oriented. And one that uses creative therapeutic approaches tailored to your specific goals.

I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Social Work and earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan. I am experienced with a variety of evidence-based models, and able to adapt my approach to best support you.

I am a licensed master social worker (LMSW) and hold certifications in in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) - a psychotherapy approach that focuses on both the child and the parent and structured sensory interventions from the National Institute of Trauma and Loss in Children (TLC).

I am passionate about working with adults, adolescents, children, and families; with those who have been impacted by trauma, grief, and loss; and with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities.
